The opportunity to join us for a variety of free cycle and running sessions some of which will be the Ironman course.
We provide video analysis to help improve your swimming.
Using the latest GoPro cameras we will record your swimming technique and provide feedback on how to improve upon it, the video is yours to keep for future analysis.
Coaches With Experience
Triathlon Strength and Conditioning with Michael Hallas (CYQ Level 3 Advanced Personal Trainer and Triathlete) Michael has been part of the Tri-Rivington coaching team since 2015, supporting all the athletes with their strength and conditioning. This has proved very successful and forms the base for all three disciplines. As well as being a fully qualified personal trainer, Michael is attending the Level 2 Tri-England Coaching course which he will complete in 2016.
Ray has a wealth of triathlon experience: he has competed in six Ironman events, over twelve half Ironman events and over thirty olympic distance events, as well as competing in numerous swimming events in the Lake District, including the full distance of Lake Windermere (10.5 miles).
Ray is a fully qualified Tri-England coach and has been coaching the three disciplines of triathlon for over four years. He is also the coach and consultant for David Lloyd Bolton. He founded Tri-Rivington UK and has successfully coached and prepared over a hundred and fifty athletes for triathlon events, including Ironman events in this country and abroad.
Steve is a qualified Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) Level 1 & 2 Teacher in Aquatics and a member of the Institute of Swimming and Fellow of the Institute of Swimming.
He has competed in many marathons including the classics; New York and London. He has also competed in different distance triathlon events including the Ironman He is an advocate of swimming ‘Slow is Smooth and Smooth is Faster’. This helps create a style committed to swimmers and triathletes of any ability from beginner to intermediate and advanced through a progressive pathway of technique.
